Five Flowers Tea Gin
47% vol. | 70 cl
Craft Distilled In Hong Kong
A classic representation of comfort, Five Flowers Tea has long been a famous quick-fix remedy in Hong Kong to detoxify the body, cleanse heat and expel fatigue. Taking inspiration from this ancient concoction, our Five Flowers Tea Gin crafted in collaboration with celebrity mixologist Antonio Lai and his creative team at speakeasy bar ROOM 309, reinterprets a traditional herbal drink in a whole new format.
Tasting Notes: Herbal, earthy and soothing. On the nose, a herbal bouquet of chrysanthemum “guk faa” (菊花) tempts you in for an inviting sip. On the palate, sweet notes of frangipani “gai dan faa” (雞蛋花) and self-heal “haa fu cho” (夏枯草) linger before transitioning into earthy, tangy notes of honeysuckle “kum ngan faa” (金銀花) and silk cotton “mook meen faa” (木棉花).

Gin & “Sonic”
Add 1 part Five Flowers Tea Gin to 1 parts tonic AND 1 part soda (tonic + soda = sonic). Mix well, top up with a generous amount of ice and garnish with a lemon peel or if you’re feeling fancy, a chrysanthemum flower!Tip #1
For a more subtle herbal nuance, make a proper Gin & Tonic (e.g. 1 part gin to 2 parts tonic) instead. -
